Somebody to Love is a single from Bieber’s hit album My World 2.0, is a dance-pop song with R&B vocals. It broke in to the Canada Top Ten and United Sates top twenty singles while also making waves in countries like Germany and Australia. There is also an official remix of the song made by Usher. Bieber commented on the song ”It’s basically about somebody to love. It’s cool. It’s young. It’s nice. I think it’s like a universal record.”
Video and Choreography: the dance video of this song begins with Bieber in a black backdrop along with a female dancer and many other dance crew members. This scene changes to male dancers who wear red hats but without shirts, dancing to the tune. The ending of this song features lots of calligraphy, flames with Bieber and Usher in the front. One of the criticism of Bieber in this song was that Usher showed his dancing skills better than him who was more a singer than a dance floor expert. One of the remixes of this song features him in a black leather jacket.
